Runelle Partin Obituary

Runelle Heath Partin, age 88, of Pittsboro, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Runelle was born in Bibb County, Georgia on June 1, 1930 to the late John Robert Heath and Louise Perdue Heath. She was also preceded in death by her husband Sidney Partin, son Robert M. Partin, and four grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons; Sidney J. Partin and wife Bonnie of Pittsboro, Norman K. Partin and wife Aggie of Surf City, NC, Franklin M. Partin and wife Laura of Pittsboro, John B. Partin and wife Vickie of Pittsboro, three daughters; Sarah P. Cooper and husband Cadle of Pittsboro, Cindy L. Carter and husband Jason of Pittsboro, Faye Partin Lett and husband Phillip of Pittsboro, one brother John F. Heath and of Pittsboro, three sisters Elizabeth Phillips of Loris, SC, Margaret Johnson of Bear Creek, Annette Binkley of Bear Creek, 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2PM to 3PM at Rock Spring Baptist Church the Funeral Service will follow at 3PM with Pastor Travis Bodine and Rev. Ray Gooch presiding. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church cemetery fund 269 Manns Chapel Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
