Rufus “Jack” Jackson Mann, age 77, of Pittsboro, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Duke Hospital.

Jack was born in Chatham County, on November 18, 1941 to the late Silas Julian Mann and Irene Johnson Mann.

Surviving relatives include his wife JoAnn Wells Mann of Pittsboro, son; Tony Mann and wife Macie of Ararat, NC three daughters; Danielle Bowman and husband David of Kernersville, NC, Jackie Graves of Walkertown, NC, Sonya Pearman and husband Bryan of Greensboro, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Martha Wood and husband Brian of Pittsboro and Cindy Cannefax of Chapel Hill, and sister-in-law Kaye Cole and husband BJ of Angola, Indiana.

There are no services planned at this time. Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in his memory to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church 1785 Mt. Gilead Church Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
