PITTSBORO, NC – Robert Edward David, 82, passed away at his home, Friday, April 6, 2018.
He was born in Wayne County, MI, to Clarence David and Isabelle Jolly David. Robert had an engineering mind and could design, build and repair anything mechanical. He owned a metal stamping process and tool and die manufacturing business while living in Richmond, KY. He loved to play golf and was an avid hunter.
Robert is survived by his wife of nearly 34 years, Rosanna Moorehead David; his two sons, Robert Edward David, Jr. and wife, Molly of Grass Lake, MI and Daniel Lee David and wife, Loretta of Evart, MI; his four daughters, Michelle Lauerman and husband, John of Highland, MI, Kathy Fee and husband, Millard of White Lake, MI, Lisa Henderson and husband, Paul of Belle Plaine, MN and Rhianna Wells and husband, John of Pittsboro, NC; his two brothers, Alvin David and wife, Shirley of Surprise, AZ, and Lee David and wife, Denice of Ft. Meade, FL; his sister, Carol Ann Branch, of Tyler, TX; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and his “Best Buddy,” Milo.
Services for Mr. David will be held at a later date.
