Dianne Veronica (Forys) Siegel

Dianne Veronica Forys Siegel ended her six year, hard-fought battle with cancer on April 4, 2021, at the age of 72. She is survived by her husband Rick Siegel, her children Kristen Sobocinski and husband Eric, Scott Siegel and wife Jennifer, her grandchildren Jackson and Georgia Sobocinski, and Hailey and Lilliana Siegel, her sisters Georgiana Persichilli, and Maryann Mangiaracina and husband Stephen, and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Ann Forys, brother Edward Forys and wife Karen, brother-in-law Louis Persichilli. A Funeral Mass will be held for her on Friday, April 9, 2021 at St Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, NC at 2:30pm. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, www.unclineberger.org.
