Charles Hooker Butler

Charles Hooker Butler, age 84, of Pittsboro, died Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Charles was born in Orange County on March 14, 1936 to the late Ernis Homer Butler and Annie Lee Perkins Butler. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter: Elizabeth Rachel Partin, one grandson: Charles Franklin Partin, and four brothers: Ernest Homer Butler, William “Bill” A. Butler, Jameson Grannis “Grant” Butler, and Robert “Bobby” Horace Butler.

Surviving relatives include his wife; Sylvia Bailey Butler, daughter; Laura Butler Partin and husband Frank of Pittsboro, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

There are no services planned at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Charles memory to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
