Rudolph Ward Howard

Rudolph Ward Howard, age 85, of Pittsboro, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation.

Rudolph was born in Chatham County on November 27, 1932 to the late Worthy Howard and Louise Seymour Howard.

Surviving relatives include his wife Geraldine Bowling Howard, one son Ricky Howard of New Hill, two daughters; Vickie Thomas and husband Kenneth of Pittsboro, Starr Fair and husband Dennis of Bear Creek, five grandchildren Heather Evans and husband Jeff, Shannon Robinson and husband Darryl, Maria Dowd and husband Phillip, DJ Fair, Dustin Fair and two great-grandchildren Easton Evans and Dilyn Evans.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at Donaldson Funeral Home & Cremation Griffin Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 12PM at Pittsboro Baptist Church with Rev. Tripp Harmon presiding. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery with Military Rites.
