Mr. Kurt Joseph Van Tassel, 67, of Pittsboro, NC, died Sunday, February 10, 2018 at the Durham VA Medical Center. After receiving a funeral with military honors, Mr. Van Tassel was laid to rest in the Sand Hills State Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Bragg, NC.
