Jessie Lee Glosson

Mrs. Jessie Lee Ellington Glosson, 91, peacefully passed away at Cambridge Hills of Pittsboro, June 9, 2018.

She was born in Chatham County, NC October 20, 1926, to the late Homer Ellington and Mary Elizabeth Williams.

Jessie was a graduate of Pittsboro High School and worked as a sewing machine operator until retiring from Kaiser-Roth.

She was married to the late Harward Glosson until his passing in 2001.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jessie was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Van Glosson.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Glosson, his wife, Debbie; and her grandsons, Greg and Chris Glosson and Steve Sykes.

Mrs. Glosson will be laid to rest beside her husband , 10:00 AM, Monday, June 11, 2018 at Mays Chapel Baptist Church in Bear Creek, NC.

The Rev. Val Chadwick and Rev. Greg Lamb will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Mays Chapel Baptist Church.
