Jason Edward Collins

Jason Edward Collins 33, of Pittsboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 24,2019 at UNC Hospitals, surrounded by his family. 

Jason was a Chatham County Native, born September 4th, 1985, to Thomas Collins (Carthage) and Barbara Grace Adams (Pittsboro). Jason enjoyed being outdoors, having cookouts with family and friends, he loved to tinker and learn how stuff worked, and really enjoyed being an equipment operator at one of his first jobs.

 
Jason is survived by his Parents:Daughter,Caidance Collins (Pittsboro): Sister, Jessica Clegg (Moncure): Brother, Brandon Sercy (Sanford): Maternal Grandmother, Louise Grace (Pittsboro): Paternal Grandparents, Albert Collins (Carthage) and Martha (Rogers) Stubbs (Pittsboro): Nephew, Tyler Blanford (Moncure): uncles, aunts, and cousins. 
A funeral service is scheduled for Monday April 29th, 2019 at 11:00AM, at Chatham United Methodist Church. Officiated by Pastor Danny Berrier. There will be a viewing before the funeral at 10:00AM at the Church.
