Clara Douglas (Holt) Sealey

Clara Douglas Holt Sealey, age 81 of the Bells Community went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Clara was born in Apex, NC on May 13, 1938 to the late Herbert and Arra Holt. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Sealey (2006).
Through the years, she was employed with FCX, Southern States, and Carolina Meadows.  
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She loved reading her Bible and cooking Sunday dinners for her family.  She was also known as a patient, kind lady who enjoyed collecting angel figurines, putting puzzles together, and word searches were a favorite.  She was a pro at playing the card game Rook with family and friends, all of whom she enjoyed dearly.  
She is survived by daughters: Wanda S. Kidd of Pittsboro, and Scarlet S. Jewell and husband Alan of Graham, brother, Glen Holt and wife Evelyn of Apex.  She was blessed with three grandchildren: Rebecca Punch and husband Joshua , Travis Kidd, and Amber Jewell.  She was also blessed with three great grandchildren: Cheyenne, Makenzie, and Montgomery Punch.  
The family will receive friends at Bells Baptist Church Sunday, June 9th, 2019 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00PM with Pastor Rick Owings and Pastor Steve Moore presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. .

Memorials may be made to the Bells Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Pittsboro Council on Aging.
