Charles King Obituary

Mr. Charles Daniel King, 89, died Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Pittsboro, NC.

Charles was born August 1, 1929 to the late James Burl King and Cleo Long King and grew up in the Royal Center Indiana area. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. After service, Charles attended and graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Forestry.

Charles was married to the former Theta Smith for 55 years. They lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas on Lake Catherine from 1964 until her passing in 2013. They did a lot of fishing on Lake Catherine and the glacial lakes of the upper Midwest and Canada.

Charles is survived by his son Charly JBjohn King and his wife, Tracey of Pittsboro, NC; his two grandchildren, Catherine King and Madison King; and his sister, Rita Williamson of Royal Center, IN.

Services for Mr. King will be private.
