My deepest sympathy to the Billington Family. May God comfort you during this time. I worked with John at Nortel and attended some of the Bible studies that he led after work. John was a blessing to all that knew him in his teaching and sharing of God's word. The light of Christ was indeed shining brightly through him. Take comfort in knowing that while we are mourning, Heaven is rejoicing.

My heart is heavy with sympathy for the family in this difficult time. I knew John through work, & everyone who every encountered John instantly knew what a great guy he was. We were all better to have known John and he will be missed terribly. Pray that his faith will provide comfort...more so in time as us mere humans are allowed to grieve.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
I worked with John for several years and was part of the bible study that he started at Nortel. When he started the Saturday morning study, I was able to attend a few of the sessions. When ever I read this passage, I am reminded of John. He was truly a maker of disciples and will be greatly missed!

Our most sincere condolences to the family. I did not know John, but working with Josh over the last year is a testament to the man he was. May God bring you comfort and the prayers of so many help ease the pain of your loss.
