William Fred Partin

William Fred Partin, age 93, of Moncure, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.

Fred was born in Chatham County on October 5, 1932, to the late Willie Thomas Partin and Rushie Mae Mitchell Partin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Reda Partin, two brothers, Herman Partin and Danny Partin, and four sisters, Hazel Boone, Estelle Holder, Elsie Partin, and Faye Partin.

Surviving relatives include one daughter, Dianne DeWitt and husband Howard of Moncure, one son, Don Partin and wife Carolyn of Raleigh, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 12:00PM-12:50PM at Gum Springs Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 1:00PM. The committal service will immediately following the church cemetery with Military Honors.
