William J. Coleman III

William J. Coleman III, of Chapel Hill, passed away on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025. He was born on December 19th, 1943 in Columbus, Mississippi, to William J. Coleman, Jr, and his wife Ruby Espy Coleman. He and his wife, Claudia Reeves Coleman, resided in Chapel Hill, NC for many years prior to his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and survived by his wife Claudia, as well as his sister, Janet Lyn Freshour of Columbus, Mississippi.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Chatham County Animal Shelter, Chatham Animal Rescue and Education, or your local ASPCA.
