Wallace Cupp Obituary

Wallace Cupp, 98, loving husband of Paula Cupp to whom he was married for 72 years. A 96-year resident of Lexington, Massachusetts, he lived the last two years of his life in North Carolina in the loving care of his wife and his daughter Marie and son-in-law Jeffrey. Father of five children - Marie Clark and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Clark, Dr. Ann Curley and her husband Edward Curley, Wallace Cupp and his wife Susan, Philip Cupp, John Cupp and his wife Lydia. Also survived by brother Stephen Cupp. Grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers John, Andrew and Paul Cupp and sister Anna Richardson.

World War II veteran and member of the 113th Red Horse Mechanized Reconnaissance Calvary Group out of Iowa, participated in invasion of France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany.

Member of Lexington Fire Department for 30 years. Original board member of the Lexington Federal Credit Union. Former member of Fire Chiefs Association and International Municipal Signalmans Association. Licensed electrician and retired President of Cupp Associates. Member of D.A.V. and town meeting member for over 30 years.

A memorial mass at St. Brigid’s Church in Lexington will be celebrated at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Wallace’s memory to ­­St. Brigid’s Church 2001 Massachusetts Ave. Lexington, MA 02421.
