Terry Sean Cohen

Terry Sean Cohen, 56, died on September 7th, 2025 after a long illness. He fought very hard in his battle with cancer and ultimately passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Terry was born into a military family and spent many of his early years in Florida before moving to Texas, then later settling in North Carolina. He enjoyed the simple things in life, like cheeseburgers, pizza, and Coca-Cola, and he loved watching the Raiders. He also loved being around water, whether on a boat, snorkeling, or as a certified SCUBA diver. He was proud of his Jewish faith, and absolutely full of love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Terry is survived by: his two children, Zachary Cohen of San Antonio, Texas, and Jessica Cohen, of Madison Wisconsin; his siblings, Ivey Moebus (Martin) of Pittsboro, NC, Scott Cohen (Sandy) of Wagram, NC, whom he lived with in his final years, Jerry Cohen (Dorothy) of Winston-Salem, NC, and his twin sister Shannon Stone of Winterhaven, FL; 13 nieces and nephews; and his dog, Rosie.

The family will be planning a memorial service for a later date – details will be announced on this website.
