Tabitha Wrenn, 56, of Pittsboro, passed away at her home after a brief illness on Monday, June 1st.
A native of Wake County, Tabitha worked for 10 years as a Phlebotomist at UNC Hospital. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially fishing, and lovingly raised a large family of 3 sons, 2 stepdaughters, and 15 grandchildren. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of her 16th grandchild at the time of her passing. Tabitha was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Tabitha joins her father, Wayne Holland, and her grandfather, Jim Blackwell, in death. She is survived by: her husband, Calvin Wrenn; her mother, Dee Wilkie (Felipe) of Apex; her sons, Justin Girard (Bethany) of Erwin, Christopher Lawson (Olivia), and Taylor Lawson (Kathren), both of Pittsboro; her stepdaughters Jennifer Ogles (Robert) of Live Oak, FL, and Stephanie Hackney (Bryant) of Broadway; her grandchildren Donatella, Drake, Hunter, Maybelle, Kacee, Ally, Wyatt, Natalia, Leslie, Faith, Raelyn, Riley, Huxley, Hayden, Haisley, and little Hendrix, expected to be born any day.
