Susan Patricia (Wogaman) Weller

Susan P. (Susie) Weller passed away at home on January 1, 2020, after a long illness, which she endured with grace and without complaint. 

Her many friends, who were surprised at her death, said she bore her obvious infirmities so well, that she was an inspiration. 

She leaves behind her husband, Alex, her two sons, Ben (Amanda) and Paul (Jamie) and her grandsons Aaron and James, and granddaughter Mayle Anne. 

She loved her many friends and neighbors, which she considered her extended family, at her home at the Galloway Ridge Life Plan Community. 

Prior to moving to Galloway Ridge, in 2013, Susie lived in Ashburn, VA for thirteen years, and before that for over twenty years in Metairie, LA. 

Although she was devoted to her family, she was known for service, finding many ways to demonstrate that.  For herself, she loved gardening.  While in Metairie, she lovingly tended 20 rose bushes in her yard. 

A Celebration of Life is planned for her at Galloway Ridge on Saturday January 11, 2020 at 3:00.
