Sean Maurice Morris

Sean Maurice Morris, age 55, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice House in Pittsboro, NC.  He was the son of the late John B. Morris and Sylvia Coates Taylor.

Sean is survived by his mother, Sylvia Coates Taylor, daughter, Kiyonna White, sons, Sheldon Vance and Sean Morris, Jr., brothers, Stan Morris, Irvin Morris, Jerry Morris, sisters, Kimberly Morris, Brenda Coates, special friend, Michelle Little and Shawn Alston, whom he called his son, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John B. Morris, sister, Jacqueline Sutton and stepfather, Burnice Taylor.

Sean loved to have a good time with his family and friends.  He was a car fanatic.  He loved to work on cars and build model cars. His favorite vehicle was his Porsche Cyan. Sean was very creative; he was a painter and loved to draw; he was an artist that had a “gift in his hands to be creative.” Along with his creativity as an artist, he was an artist in the kitchen with an amazing collection of clothing and sneakers.  Sean was loved by all who knew; he even touched the lives of the staff at the Hospice House. He will be dearly missed.
