Rebecca Dale (Wright) Thomas

Rebecca Dale Wright Thomas, age 83, died Sunday, March 26, 2023, at her home. She was born in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Rossie Dale Wright and Juanita Gillespie Wright.   Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Thomas and a son, Kenneth Dale Thomas.

Surviving Rebecca is her son Daniel F. Thomas of Durham, NC, two grandchildren, Katherine Thomas Jones (Brandon) and Daniel Wright Thomas (Monica) and three great grandchildren, Charlotte Dale Jones, Eleanor Lucille Thomas and Frances Louise Jones all of Raleigh, NC, once sister, Frances Wright Nelson of Coshocton, OH and nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was a long-time resident of Salisbury, NC and a registered nurse at Rowan Memorial Hospital in Salisbury, NC.  She moved to Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC six years ago. She was a member of Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill, NC.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church, 314 Great Ridge Parkway Chapel Hill, NC 27516 on April 8, 2023, at 2pm.  A service and interment will be in Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury, NC on April 15, 2023, at 2pm.
