Patricia Lynn (Ray) Leonard

Mrs. Patricia (Pat) Lynn Ray Leonard, 69, of Thomasville, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Henry Etta & Bruce Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.  She was born on April 27, 1954 in Los Angeles County, San Pedro, CA to William Thomas Ray and Margaret Hayes Ray Teta.  She was a 1976 graduate of Elon College and was a realtor for many years. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Randolph Ray; and her sister, Anna Marie Teta.

On October 12, 2013, she married Luther Stephen (Steve) Leonard, who survives of the home; also surviving is her daughter, Jaclyn Nicholson (Jeffrey) of Pinehurst, NC; her son, Marc Deskin (Joanna Hale) of Jacksonville, FL; her mother, Margaret Hayes Teta of Durham, NC; step-daughter, Candice Hinson (Eddie) of Archdale; brothers, Anthony Teta of FL and Rick Teta (Ronda) of Pittsboro; sister, Mary Teta Bugger of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Carter Nicholson and Spencer Nicholson; step-granddaughter, Natalie Hinson; and several nieces and nephews.
