Myrlin Wayne Smith

Myrlin Wayne Smith, 87, of Chapel Hill, NC, died on April 7, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House in Pittsboro, NC.  He is the son of the late Carl A. Smith and Helen (Sigars) Smith and was born in Cherokee County Kansas in 1935.  Mr. Smith is survived by his son's; Wayne Smith, Rick Guipe, Mike Guipe, and Pete Guipe.  His daughters; Debbie Smith Cave, Janet Smith Englehardt, April Mooney, and Jennifer Smith Wilson. One brother, Gary Smith, and one sister Patty Smith Holmes, Nine Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.

The family will be having services in Traverse City, Michigan in May with assistance from Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.  Mr. Smith will be buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City.  Donaldson Funeral Home is honored to be helping serve the Smith family.  Memorial Tributes can be left for the family at this website Tribute Wall.
