Merle Lee Feathers

Merle Lee Feathers, age 84, of Pittsboro, North Carolina, passed away on August 24, 2024, at her home. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 28, 1940.  She was the daughter of the late Walter Herbert DuVall, Jr and Caroline Mary Wiegand DuVall. Merle was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Marshall Feathers, Jr, and her two brothers, Herb DuVall and Dan DuVall.

Merle loved gardening, flowers, especially peonies and hydrangeas, reading and dogs.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diana Myers (Don) of Hanover, Pennsylvania and Caroline Skelton (Page) of Pittsboro, North Carolina, one granddaughter, Danielle Myers of Hanover, Pennsylvania, one grandson Harry Page Skelton, Jr of Pittsboro, North Carolina, and a sister, Eleanor Bell of Rockville, Maryland.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 10:00AM at Bynum United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
