Mary Jane Brown Tobul

Mary Jane Brown Tobul, age 86, of Pittsboro, NC (formerly Duncansville PA), went to her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Mary Jane was born in Lawrenceville, PA on June 29, 1935, to the late Frederick Brown and Francis McKinnen Brown.  She is also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Surviving relatives include her husband Tom Tobul, Sr of Pittsboro, NC two sons Tom Tobul, Jr and wife Chris of Holly Springs, NC, Anthony Tobul and partner Jeff Trimbath of Duncansville, PA, one daughter Tina Snyder of Zebulon, NC, grandchildren Travis, Tori, Ty, and Tommy, great grandchildren Tallison and Torin, one brother Harry, and sister-in-law Nancy and husband Don Ferrante.

It is with a heavy heart that we write about the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mary Jane loved her husband of 61 years, and they created a wonderful life together full of family, love, fun and adventure.  While her children were still at home Mary Jane developed a love of bowling and cards that were favorite activities well into her 70s.  She cherished her time with her grandchildren always having fun no matter what the activity.  Mary Jane and Tom traveled throughout the US and parts of Canada in their retirement years with particular favorites being Alaska and Nova Scotia.  Mary Jane and Tom sold the snow blower and relocated to Pittsboro NC in 2020 to enjoy their golden years.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 11am at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory Griffin Chapel. A celebration of life will follow the Memorial service.
