Mary (Britt) Jenks

Mary Britt Jenks, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2025 at her home at 874 New Salem Church Rd, Pittsboro NC. She was born August 21, 1954 in Troy NC to Graham and Mabel Britt. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert "Bobby J" East. She is survived by her husband, Allen K. Jenks of Pittsboro; two daughters, Michelle East of Williamsburg KY, and Sherry Lee of Mt. Airy NC; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She had previously worked in a poultry processing plant, in nursing homes, and as a housewife before moving to Pittsboro NC and marrying Allen Jenks. She was a housewife and homemaker there until her unexpected death.
