Martha Wood Obituary

Martha Mann Wood, age 72, of Bynum, died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at UNC Hospital.

Martha was born in Chatham County on December 26, 1950, to the late Silas Mann and Irene Johnson Mann. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Brian Wood.

She was known for her southern cooking, her love for the Tarheels, The Beatles, Indy racing, and all of her cats. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and listening to the windchimes on her back porch.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Ashley Wood of Pittsboro, Brandi Wood Belliveau and husband Chris of Sanford, and two grandchildren, Shea Wood of Pittsboro, and Skylar Wood of Pittsboro.
