Lettie Lee (Boyette) Roberson

Lettie Lee Boyette Roberson, age 93, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.  She was born in Johnston County, NC to the late Clarence Boyette and Grace Pitman Boyette on January 29, 1931. 

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Farrell of Apex, NC, sons, Earl Roberson (Sharon) of Durham, NC, Eddie Roberson of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Ricky Roberson (Susan) of Banner Elk, NC four grandchildren, Kevin, Chris, Amy and Wendy and three great grandchildren, Brandon, Chandler and Madi.

Lettie is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Grace Boyette, her husband, William Edward Roberson, one brother and two sisters.

Lettie and Ed had been married for 56 years and they enjoyed camping and fishing. They were always side by side. After his death, she loved her dog, PeeWee until his death.  She loved gardening, flowers, landscaping and lawn work.  She adored taking care of her family, which included good home cooked meals.  Her son said, “You did not go hungry around her.” She was so loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3PM at the Roberson Family Cemetery on Country Farm Road in Wendell, NC with Rev. Danny Creech presiding.
