KIM FLYTHE SABBAGH, 44, died of a drowning accident on September 26, 2020 in Surf City, NC. She was born in Wilmington, NC and was a Registered Nurse. She graduated Cum Laude from UNC Wilmington with her BSN degree and had an active nursing career at UNC Chapel Hill. Kim married Tony Sabbagh in 2005. Together they had three children, Simon 12, Anellise 10 and Atticus 6.
In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her parents, Tom and Hanne Flythe; and her sister, Angie Flythe Holt.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend to all she met. She had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church, volunteering wherever there was a need.
A resident of Bear Creek, NC, Kim was proud of her North Carolina heritage. She loved her pets and was very active in animal rescue and support. She established The Wildlife Building on her own property and was active in other animal rescue organizations. Kim was an accomplished pianist, loved music and was a self-taught artist/photographer.
The family will receive family and friends from 11:45AM - 1:00PM at Donaldson Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
Funeral services will be private.
