Katie Sanders Obituary

Mrs. Katie Sanders, 100, of Pittsboro, NC, peacefully passed away at home, early Thursday morning, December 26, 2019.

The daughter of the late Charles and Lena Cotton Evans, she was born in Lee County, NC April 7, 1919.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Sanders and a brother.

Survivors include her sons, Gilbert (Shirley) Sanders, Jerry (Louise) Sanders and Freddie (Toni) Sanders; along with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The services for Mrs. Sanders will be private.
