John Quinton Tidwell

John Quinton Tidwell, age 84, of Siler City, died Thursday, February 13, 2025, at home. 

John was born in Alamance County on August 20, 1940, to the late Nathan Tidwell and Wenona Baker Tidwell. He is preceded in death by his wife Jo Tidwell, one son, John Quinton Tidwell, Jr., and three brothers, and four sisters.

Surviving relatives include one daughter, Donna Bristow and husband Tony of Siler City, two grandchildren, Jed Bristow and wife Abby, Erin Spear and husband Justin, two great-grandchildren (soon to be three with another one on the way), one sister Nancy Blanchard of Weddington, NC, and his loyal companion dog, Luke. 

There are no services planned at this time. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in John’s memory to the Chatham County Animal Shelter 725 Renaissance Drive Pittsboro, NC 27312.
