Jianting Hu Cao

Jianting Hu Cao was born on October 5, 1930, near Beijing, China, into a Christian family.  She was the youngest of five children.  She grew up in her native city and then attended Beijing University and received master’s degree in physics.  After graduation she was assigned to teach in Jilin University in NE China for the next twenty-five years.  She then returned to Beijing in 1978, where she worked at Higher Education Press until 1992 when she retired.

Jianting joined her two daughters in the United States where she saw her granddaughter and her grandson born and grow up.  She attended church in New Jersey and North Carolina.  She often sang and played hymns on the keyboard at home.  She was received by the Lord to her Heavenly home on March 4, 2025, peaceful and grateful when she left this earthly body.
