Jeffrey David Hassler

Jeffrey David Hassler, age 57, of Pittsboro, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Jeffrey’s life was filled with always helping others. He worked as a self-employed contractor, woodworking, and cabinetry.

Jeffrey was born in St. Joseph, Michigan on April 18, 1963 to the late Frank Hassler and Marge Beutter.

He is survived by his longtime loving girlfriend, Samantha Birchard, two sisters: Jane Walzak and husband John of Niles, Michigan, and Diane Phillips and husband Ed of St. Joseph, Michigan.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 13, 2020 from 2PM to 4PM at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory Griffin Chapel. A Memorial Service will follow at 4PM with Rev. Wilber Mundia presiding.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Jeffrey’s memory to Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE), Post Office Box 610 Pittsboro, NC 27312.
