Jean Williams (Seagroves) Fish

Jean Williams Fish, of Apex, died Monday, December 2nd, 2024, at her home. Jean was born June 19th, 1937, in Chatham County.  She is the daughter of the late Julious Winship Seagroves Sr and Mabel Chambers Seagroves.  Jean was a graduate of Pittsboro High School.  She worked for the University of North Carolina for thirty years before her retirement. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Williams, her parents, siblings, Judy Seagroves Mann and Julious Winship Seagroves Jr.  She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Wayland Stanley Fish. 

Jean is survived by her sister Linda Phillips (Charles), sister-in-law Betsy Seagroves, many nieces and nephews including special great nephew Hunter Mann, and special great niece Brook Heath as well as stepchildren and grandchildren.

A grave side service will be held at Olive Chapel Baptist Cemetery 600 New Hill Olive Chapel Rd, Apex, NC on Sunday December 8th, 2024, at two o'clock in the afternoon.
