James "Jim" Joseph Muehlbach

James “Jim” Joseph Muehlbach, age 66, of Siler City, died Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Duke Hospital.

Jim was born on March 14, 1956, to the late John Jacob Muehlbach and Fleeta Jane Boling Muehlbach and grew up in Asheboro, NC. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Howard Muehlbach and one sister, Caroline Pugh.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary H. Muehlbach, one daughter, Michelle Muehlbach Pinto, and husband Mike of Siler City, one son, Jake Muehlbach and wife Anita of Siler City, three granddaughters, Courtney Pinto, Hanna Muehlbach, Taylor Muehlbach, and one sister, Barbara Smith and husband Richard of Linden, NC.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11AM at Emmaus Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Moore presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Immediately following the committal service, the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall.  

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Jim’s memory to Emmaus Baptist Church 2430 Silk Hope Gum Spring Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
