Harold Bradley "Brad" Hussey

Harold Bradley (Brad) Hussey died peacefully on November 17, 2020 in his home in Chapel Hill, NC.

Brad is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Kernodle Hussey, his son, William Bradley Hussey of Chapel Hill, NC; daughter, Sarah Kenney Hussey Bonds and son-in-law, Andrew Bonds of Charlottesville, Virginia and grandson, Ryan Fagschlunger of Austria.  Brad is also survived by his father, James Harold Hussey of Robbins, NC, his sister Lynne Hussey Stroud (husband Steve) of New Bern, NC, brother James Bart Hussey (wife Rachel) of Burlington, NC and many loving nieces and nephews. Brad was pre-deceased by his beloved mother, Peggy Lassiter Hussey.

Brad was born in Asheboro, NC on July 26, 1960. He graduated from North Moore High School in 1978. He earned his BS Pharmacy degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1984 and practiced pharmacy, most recently at Governors Pharmacy, Chapel Hill, NC.  Brad was also instrumental in building Excelicare, a medical health technology company.

Outside of career and family, Brad enjoyed golf, fishing and being with friends.  Brad had a love for Jesus Christ and never missed an opportunity to share his belief in salvation.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 2 pm at Mt Zion United Methodist Church, 8616 Curtis Powers Road, Bennett, NC with Rev. Bob Wachs presiding.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Brad’s name may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 251 Hwy 705 South, Robbins, NC 27325, or Mt. Zion United Methodist Church - Cemetery Fund 8616 Curtis Powers Road, Bennett, NC 27208.
