In Loving Memory 

Gregory Alan Bowler, age 33, of Moncure, died Friday, January 22, 2021 at home from an accidental drug overdose.

Gregory was born in Sacramento, California on February 6, 1987.

Surviving relatives are his mother Frauke Rona-Bowler and stepfather William C. Hobson of Moncure, NC, father John Bowler and wife Patricia of Hampstead, NC; two brothers, John Lukas Bowler of Raleigh, NC, Mark Wolfgang Bowler and wife Gina of Washington D.C., niece; Anna Bowler, aunt, Dr. Sabine Rona, uncles Peter and Mark Bowler, maternal grandmother, Ilse Rona of Germany, and many cousins and family members.  

Gregory was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Wolfgang Rona, paternal grandmother; Jane M. Bowler, and paternal grandfather; John E. Bowler.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Gregory never gave up fighting his addiction, thus, in lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Gregory’s memory to Recovery Community 5245 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, North Carolina 27616. https://www.rcnc.org/
