Gary Wayne Sydnor

Gary Wayne Sydnor of Silk Hope, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8 at Hospice in Pittsboro, NC.  He was surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his dearly loved wife of 40 years, Kristin Sydnor. Gary has been significantly connected to and loved by the Silk Hope farming community.  He and Kristin, of Sydnor Angus Farm, were recent recipients of the Silk Hope Ruritan Club 2022 Agri-Business of the Year award. Gary’s passion was farming Angus cattle and sheep, cooking on the Big Green Egg, traveling, and enjoying a fine Kentucky bourbon.  He is remembered as a fun loving, curious, warm and caring friend to all and will be greatly missed.

There will be a private celebration of life with close family and friends.
