Garland Dean Bryant

Garland Dean Bryant, age 78, died at his home on May 6, 2023.  He was born June 5, 1944, in Nottoway County, Virginia to the late Troy Bryant and Norma Stewart Bryant.   

Garland is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gail Smith Bryant, daughter, Melissa Bryant and  her son, Kamden Horton of Pittsboro, NC, a  brother, Gary (Susan) Bryant, of Lillington, NC and a sister, Brenda Bryant, of Victoria, Virginia and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Gray Bryant.

Garland was a plumber who was self-employed. He was always willing to give anyone a helping hand- anyone in need.  He never met a stranger. His true love was his family and he showed them his dear love everyday and he was very proud of all his family, especially his daughter and grandson.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Fellowship Hall , 1785 Mt. Gilead Church Road Pittsboro, NC 27312, from 11am - 3pm (floating)
