David Ryan Crispin

Mr. David Ryan Crispin, 39, of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024.  He was the son of Jon Arthur and the late Bonnie Gail Crispin.  

David was born on July 7, 1985, in Newport Beach, CA.  He attended the Caswell County School system's public schools and graduated from Westover Christian Academy in Danville, VA.  David, an honor student, engaged in scholarly and sports-related school activities.  He was a member of Blanch Baptist Church.

David was also an active member of Boy Scout Troop 354, where he became an Eagle Scout and was elected to receive the Order of the Arrow.

After graduating high school, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Kenan Flagler School of Business.  During his senior year, David was awarded an internship with the Crispin, Porter, and Bogusky Advertising Agency, working on various clients such as Burger King.  After graduating, David accepted a job at the agency where he worked for a few years before returning to North Carolina to become a Northwest Mutual Financial Advisor. He eventually became a certified financial planner and earned the Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation.  

David became one of the founding partners of the MMC Financial Group, where he was currently employed.  

He was united in matrimony to Erin Marie Ihnat on September 19, 2015.  

He is survived by his spouse and his father, Jon, of Blanch, NC, along with uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Blanch Baptist Church, 5931 Blanch Road, Blanch, NC  27212.  (Mailing address:  P.O. Box 156, Providence, NC  27315) Family and friends are welcome to celebrate David’s life.
