It is with great sadness that the family of Connor Stephen Todd, 33, of Moncure announce his sudden and unexpected passing. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024. He is a beloved husband, father, son, uncle, Marine, friend, and co-worker.
Connor was born on June 27th, 1991, to Gary Stephen Todd and Melinda (Taylor) Todd Rose in Raleigh, NC.
His greatest accomplishment is his precious family. Connor is survived by the love of his life, soulmate, best friend, and wife of 14 and a half years, Caitlin Farmer Todd. He was a loving and devoted husband as well as the best dad ever. He is survived by his precious daughters Faith Todd and Lillian (Lilly) Todd. They made him the happiest girl dad in the world. He did and would do anything to make sure they live a wonderful life as well as know Jesus each and every day. As well as his parents, he is also survived and adored by his Farmer family: in-laws, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
Connor served proudly in the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal. He bravely served overseas in Afghanistan where he received a Purple Heart. Before being honorably discharged, he was also awarded the Combat Action Ribbon (Afghanistan), Navy Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Connor continued his core values of honor, courage, and commitment until his passing throughout all aspects of his life. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering through North Carolina State University. Through his employment at Credit Suisse/UBS he continued to be active in many Veterans Network initiatives which supported many veterans across the United States. He was passionate about raising funding and awareness for veteran suicide prevention programs and led many large and successful fundraisers for the cause.
Connor enjoyed spending time with his family above all else. He also enjoyed woodworking and making furniture for their home. He loved any outdoor activities with his family, neighbors, friends, and dogs as well as completing home and land projects. He could build and do anything he put his mind to. Gentle and charming, he was also the family practical joker and champion game competitor.
Connor has inspired all that have met and known him. His love, commitment, drive, integrity, honor, compassion, benevolence, and personal relationship with God live on in our memories. His joy-filled smile and contagious laugh brightened every day. It is forever in our hearts and minds.
