Christine Miller Hurley

On Friday, June 25, 2021 Christine Miller Hurley passed away unexpectedly.  Christine is survived by her husband, Brian Hurley and her daughter, Alexandria Hurley.  She was the daughter to Barbara and Paul McCoy and Dave and Gaye Miller; daughter-in-law, to Sylvia Phillips and Carson Hurley.  She is also survived by brother Ryan Miller, sister Erin Gannett, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christine was a graduate of Northwood High School in Chatham County.  She is a long-term resident of Apex, North Carolina.  She has been a dedicated member of Dr. Jeffery Kearney, DDS staff in Cary, North Carolina.
Christine attended Christian Chapel church.  She dedicated her time to building our community by volunteering with the PTA’s of:  Middle Creek Elementary School, Oak Grove Elementary School, West Lake Middle School.  She was a proud supportive parent of Duke University’s Campus Club.  She passionately organized an annual fundraiser in association with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
The family visitation to be held at Donaldson’s Funeral Home and Crematory (396 West St. Pittsboro, NC) will occur on July 7th from 6-8 pm.  A celebration of life event will be held at Christian Chapel Christian Church (3262 Christian Chapel Church Rd. New Hill, NC) on July 8th at 11 am with a brief internment ceremony after.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for you to honor Christine’s lifelong dedication to animal welfare by donating to the Forsyth Humane Society (https://forsythhumane.org/), an organization her daughter Alexandria, frequently volunteers, or alternatively the Christian Chapel Church Cemetery Fund.
