Christina Magdalena Amelia Pach Bowen, 65, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025.
Born on March 15, 1960, in Marburg, Germany, Christina grew up in Waynesville, North Carolina, where she graduated from Tuscola High School, Class of 1978. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Christina brought warmth, creativity, and kindness to everyone she met. She was the proud owner of Alterations by Christina, where her incredible skill and passion for sewing touched countless lives. Her customers quickly became her friends, and she took great joy in visiting with them, sharing stories, and greeting their pets and children with genuine affection.
Christina also had a deep love and compassion for animals. She had a special place in her heart for stray cats, often taking them in and giving them the care and home they needed. Her gentle spirit extended to all living things.
Christina is survived by her loving husband, Chet J. Bowen; her brothers, Michael Pach and Marc Pach; her sister, Tjode Orlandino; her nieces, Lindsey Glista, Colette Kelly, and Celeste Orlandini; and her nephew, David Pach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Peter Pach and Ruth Frances Pach.
Christina’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service to celebrate Christina’s life will be held at a later date.
Her kindness, creativity, and warmth will be forever remembered and cherished.
