Brian Scott Thomas

Brian Scott Thomas, age 63, of Pittsboro, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Duke Hospital.

Scott was born in Chatham County on April 24, 1959, to the late Earl Thomas and Etta Brooks Thomas.

Surviving relatives include  his wife, Donna Glosson Thomas of Pittsboro, three sons, Landon Thomas of Apex , Parker Thomas of Pittsboro, Brayden Thomas and fiancé Mackenzie of Pittsboro, two step daughters, Lacey Hubbard and husband Matthew of Pittsboro, Kimberly Tompkins and husband Matthew of Willis, Virginia, three grandsons, Charlie Joe Tompkins, John Hubbard, Carter Hubbard, three granddaughters, Ana Hubbard, Carolina Tompkins, Sarah Hubbard, two brothers, Eddie Thomas and wife JoAnn of Pittsboro, Jeff Thomas and fiancé Sheri Haney of Greer, South Carolina, one sister, Joette Springle and husband Jim of Pittsboro,

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 2PM at Emmaus Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Moore presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Immediately following the committal service, the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Scott’s memory to Emmaus Baptist Church 2430 Silk Hope Gum Spring Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
