Bradly "Brad" Durham Robinson, 46, of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away on January 20, 2025. Born in Durham, NC, Brad was the son of F. "Randy." Robinson and Gail Sparrow Blackwood. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Ellis Robinson; sons Trey Robinson of Pittsboro and Samuel Smith of Hillsborough, NC; his parents, Randy Robinson of Pittsboro and Gail Blackwood of Holly Ridge; siblings Chris Robinson of Pittsboro, Sabrina (Steve) Evans of Pittsboro, and Heather (Alex) Barronof Warner Robins, Georgia; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished bulldog, Jemma. Brad was preceded in death by his stepmother,
Carolyn Robinson, and his grandparents William (Jessie) Robinson, III and Watts Durham (Betty C) Sparrow.
Brad had a deep love for spending time with family, chilling at the beach in North Topsail, grilling steaks from Cliffs Corner Meat Market and cheering on his Carolina Tarheels. He was an accomplished plumber, dedicated to serving Chapel Hill customers and mentoring fellow craftsmen at Sparrow and Sons Plumbing and, more recently, at Bud Matthews Plumbing. Brad was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.
A visitation to celebrate Brad's life will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, January 26 from 1:00 to 3:00. In lieu of a formal funeral service, the family invites friends and loved ones to gather and share memories during this time. In honor of Brad's passion for the Carolina Tarheels, attendees are encouraged to wear Carolina blue and UNC gear. Following the visitation, the family will receive guests at Randy Robinson's home.
