Betty Wall Brewington

Betty Wall Brewington, 84, passed away Wednesday morning, January 22, 2020, at Chapel Ridge Assisted Living in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born January 26, 1935 in Forsyth County, NC, daughter to the late Esther Flippin and Robert Wall. She was an avid reader and loved thrift stores.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, William Clarence Austin, Jr.; and several of her siblings.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Betty is survived by her sons, Ricky (Luana) Austin, of Chapel Hill, NC and David (Anne) Austin, of Sanford, NC; her grandchildren, Ricky Austin, II, Jamie Zhang, Claire Austin; and her great-grandchildren,  Rylee Rivers, Lillie Rivers, Azariah  Austin, Joshua Zhang and Coco Zhang; and her brother, Nelson Wall, of Chapel Hill, NC.                                                                                                                            

A service to honor her memory will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Lighthouse Baptist Church - 12063 US Hwy 15-501 N., Chapel Hill, NC 27517.

Pastor Mark Hall will officiate the service.
