Barbara Kusmierz

Barbara Kusmierz, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina peacefully passed away on January, 30th 2023 at the SECU Hospice House in Pittsboro with her loving children by her side. Barbara was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Anthony Kusmierz and Rose (Kobylanski) Kusmierz.  She is survived by her son Corey Mulawka of Roxboro, North Carolina, her daughter Brooke Mulawka of Diablo, California, her sisters Gloria Decker and Marie Chomen, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from around the world. 

Barbara was an amazing humanitarian and her greatest gift in life was her commitment to helping those in need.  Memorial donations can be made in Barbara’s name to your local Humane Society at www.humanesociety.org or any other charity close to your heart. 

The family will be holding a celebration of life for Barbara at a later date.  Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Kusmierz and Mulawka family.  Memorial tributes can be left here on the tribute wall.
