Alma Daisy Rodriguez-Hernandez

Alma D. Rodriguez-Hernandez, 29 of Sanford died unexpectedly on January 3, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.  A visitation will be held on Friday January 6th from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. at her church Iglesias Missionera Bautista Roca Fuerte, 1365 Hwy. 902 West, Pittsboro, NC. 

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, January 7th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with burial to immediately follow.  Alma is the daughter of Everado Rodriguez and Rufina Hernandez.  She is survived by her parents, her husband, Fernando Marcos, and her three children.  Darey Marcos-Rodriguez, Dario Marcos-Rodriguez, and Danely Marcos-Rodriguez.  She is also survived by her two brothers, Edward and Joe Hernandez, her five sisters, Anjelica, Perla, Pamela, Betsy Hernandez and Karen Gutierrez.  Her loving brothers-in-law’s and sister-in-law’s and many nieces and nephews.

Alma was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister who will be missed greatly by all of them and by all who knew her.  Alma was strong in her Christian faith and loved to praise the Lord and sing at church during worship.  She loved God first and then her family above all things.  Family was everything to Alma, she loved spending time with her children and having soccer play dates at the park.  Being one of eight children herself there was always time with her siblings and their families.  Alma worked as the Administrator for their family-owned construction business and enjoyed baking in her spare time.
