Obituary
Allen Mark Feinberg, PhD., passed away on Saturday 4/9/2022, of natural causes. Dr. Feinberg grew up in New York City, moved to Florida to attend graduate school, and then landed in Chapel Hill in 1966 to attend additional graduate school at both UNC and Duke, being trained as a psychologist.
In the 1970's, he was the director of the Orange County Mental Health Services, and from there opened up his private practice in the early 1980's. He continued to see patients until 2015, at which time he retired and continued to live just south of Chapel Hill.
He is succeeded by his brother, Richard Feinberg, his son Matt Feinberg, and Matt's wife Francia.
