Tyler Shane Gray

Tyler Shane Gray, 23, of Pittsboro, NC died on June 22, 2018.

Tyler was born July 19, 1994. On June 22nd, the world lost an amazing young man, however, Heaven gained the sweetest angel possible.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Shane and Melissa Gray; his brother, Justin Gray; his grandparents, Charles and Fran Gray and Bonnie Hanline and Barbara Wedding; his uncle, Steven Hanline, Jr.; his aunt, Kimberly Jordan; cousins, Misty and Dusty Herbert; friend, David Castillo; his beloved dog, Bit; and numerous other family members.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steven Hanline, Sr.; and his great-grandparents, Phyllis and Kenneth Rogers - or as Tyler called them "Great Dillis and Poppy."

Tyler was a realtor with Chatham Homes in and was a supervisor with the Habitat Humanity Store, both located in Pittsboro. He was also an extremely talented photographer. Tyler graduated in the Leadership Chatham Graduation Class of 2018, from the Chamber of Commerce on June 14, 2018. He loved the town of Pittsboro!

The family will welcome friends at Donaldson Funeral Home located at 396 West St., Pittsboro, NC, for a Memorial Service on Monday June 25th, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers,  the family requests donations in Tyler's honor be made to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Pittsboro, NC or the Chatham County Animal Shelter.
