Trillis Sparrow Obituary
Trillis Hackney Sparrow, age 86, entered eternal life on February 19, 2018, in the loving care of UNC Hospice Home.
She was born in Carrboro, NC to the late Jessie E. Hackney and Vannie Teague Hackney. She is reunited with her parents; her sister, Colleen Pressley; and two brothers, Joel and Tracy Hackney.
Her spirit is carried on by her husband of 67 years, Charles "Lindy" Sparrow; daughter, Lisa Kistler (husband, David); son, Van Sparrow; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Amity United Methodist Church, 825 N. Estes Dr. Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
The family will greet friends following the celebration.
Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made in Trillis' name to Amity United Methodist Church's Flower Fund or to the UNC Hospice Home.
